Description
(+)-Syringaresinol is a compound isolated from the fruits of Euterpe oleracea. (+)-Syringaresinol has the ability to upregulate silent information regulator two ortholog 1 (SIRT1) gene expression. (+)-Syringaresinol demonstrates cytoprotective activity in cultured MCF-7 cells under oxidative stress induced by H2O2. Additionally, (+)-Syringaresinol exhibits inhibitory activity against Helicobacter pylori motility, with an IC50 value of 50 µg/ml.
