Description
Artemotil: A fast-acting blood schizonticide, Artemotil is specifically indicated for the treatment of chloroquine-resistant *Plasmodium falciparum* malaria and cerebral malaria cases. As a semi-synthetic derivative of artemisinin, which is derived from the Chinese plant *Artemisia annua*, Artemotil is currently reserved as a second-line drug for severe malaria cases.
