12-O-Acetylazedarachin A is a compound isolated from the fruit extract of *Melia azedarach*. **Limonoids** and **triterpenoids** are structurally diverse and biologically significant metabolites well-documented in plants of the Meliaceae family. *Melia azedarach* L. (Meliaceae), the source of these compounds, is indigenous to Japan, Taiwan, China, and Southeast Asia.
